Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is hiring for a cement terminal operator to safely run and monitor equipment, load cement and slag into multiple transport modes, and handle inventory and documentation. You will perform routine maintenance and keep a clean work area while supporting plant operations.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, flexibility to work different shifts, and willingness to travel between Cape Canaveral and Ft Lauderdale.

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely operate and monitor terminal equipment for cement/slag receiving, storage, and loading operations.
• Load bulk cement/slag into trucks, railcars, and other transportation equipment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Perform routine inspections, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting of terminal equipment and tools.
• Complete inventory tracking, shipment documentation, and other computer-based operational tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment while supporting terminal and plant operations.

What Are We Looking For

• Fluent Spanish and English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.

Work Environment

• Work is performed in a cement terminal and plant environment with exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and varying weather conditions.
• Regular walking, climbing, bending, lifting, and working around mobile equipment is required.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is always required.
• Must be willing to workdays, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, including scheduled and unscheduled hours, to meet operational needs.
