Job summary

DePaul University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position in Special Education to teach undergraduate and masters level programs. The appointment begins December 1, 2026 and runs through June 30, 2027, with applications accepted immediately and the search remaining open until filled.

The role includes teaching in person, hybrid, and online formats, advising, and participation in department meetings.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Special Education or a closely related field.
• Expertise in teaching reading or mathematics to exceptional learners.
• Expertise in instruction and differentiation in special education, assessment, and assistive technology.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and masters level special education courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online formats.
• Provide faculty advising and participate in program meetings.
• Contribute to initiatives to enhance special education programs and activities.
