Qualifications

• Applicants must have at least a master's degree in the early childhood-age field. Some courses may require a doctoral degree.
• The candidate must have demonstrated experience working and teaching with children/adults working with children ages birth through 8y.
• Our students represent many different perspectives and cultures, and the University strives to recruit and sustain a faculty community where all backgrounds are valued and supported.
• All applicants for curriculum and instruction (i.e., "methods") courses must have a minimum of five years of licensed teaching experience in the early childhood age span (birth-age 8y).
• All applicants must have a minimum of three years' experience in the early childhood or child development (ages birth-8y) fields.

Responsibilities

• Express interest for part-time teaching opportunities in Early Childhood Education for the 2026‑2027 Academic Year.
• Selected individuals will work with department faculty to determine a quarterly schedule and may be interviewed for teaching a particular course or set of courses.
