A leading educational institute is seeking a support staff member to assist with data input, procurement, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be customer-oriented, and possess good computer software knowledge. Responsibilities include handling invoices, supporting meetings, and providing counter services. Applicants should have relevant educational qualifications and be able to work independently as well as in a team.
(a) To provide support in one or more of the following areas:
(i) data input and filing;
(ii) procurement, supplies and store administration;
(iii) handling invoices and payment applications;
(b) To assist in providing support for meetings;
(c) To handle enquiries and provide counter services; and
(d) To draft simple correspondence.
Requirements :
(a) (i) Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination, or equivalent^;OR
(ii) Level 2 / Grade E or above in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE);OR
(iii) Diploma of Applied Education + Maths Plus / Diploma Yi Jin + Mathematics / Project Yi Jin; OR
(iv) A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate / Diploma of Foundation Studies;OR
* Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC’s Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification.
^ “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in HKDSE Examination are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects.
(b) Good at computer software application, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Chinese word processing;
(c) Good work initiative and be customer-orientated;
(d) Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills; and
(e) Ability to work independently and be a good team player.
