A leading educational institute is seeking a Term Executive Assistant II to support student admissions and various administrative tasks. The role involves handling enquiries, managing documentation, and assisting in system development. Ideal candidates should have strong communication skills and relevant qualifications, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Department / Section : VTC Admissions Office
Major Duties:
(a) To provide support in one or more of the following areas:
(i) events, meetings and activities on student admissions;
(ii) enquiries handling for counter service, telephone hotline, email and social media;
(iii) finance, supplies and store administration;
(iv) digital filing and data entry;
(v) publicity and committee work; and
(b) To assist in verification of academic credentials, documentation management, and the compilation of reports and statistics;
(c) To assist in computer system development and updating database;
(d) To assist in the development and maintenance of the admission homepage;
(e) To prepare promotional materials on various admission schemes; and
(f) To assist specific projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
(a) (i) Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination, or equivalent^; OR
(ii) Level 2 / Grade E or above in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE); OR
(iii) Diploma of Applied Education + Maths Plus / Diploma Yi Jin + Mathematics / Project Yi Jin; OR
(iv) A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate / Diploma of Foundation Studies; OR
(v) A recognised Associate Degree / Higher Diploma or above.
* Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC’s Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification.
^ “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in HKDSE Examination are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects.
(b) High proficiency in computer software applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Chinese word processing;
(c) Knowledge in graphic and multimedia design, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, UX Design and developing digital content, would be an added advantage;
(d) Good command of Chinese and English, preferably with knowledge of Putonghua;
(e) Good work initiative, communication, interpersonal and organisational skills;
(f) Ability to work independently and be a good team player; and
(g) Preferably with relevant work experience.
Notes:
(1) Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
(2) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and / work on shift duty.
