Job summary

Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) in New Mexico is seeking a TERM APRENDE Program Manager to lead the early childhood teacher apprenticeship program operations in the region. Responsibilities include recruiting employers and students, developing community partnerships, coordinating supervision and program alignment, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of related experience, preferably a Master’s in a related field, and bilingual English/Spanish.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Three years of related experience in program management, non-profits, workforce development or early childhood.
  • Master’s degree or higher in early childhood education or related field preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Experience with state, federal reporting.
  • Experience with state, federal, and/or private foundation contracts and grants.
  • Experience with training and/or teaching adult learners.

Responsibilities

  • Collect data to build program reports.
  • Participate in program evaluation and continuous quality improvement.
  • Manage recruitment and enrollment of apprentices.
  • Manage apprenticeship software (ApprentiScope) and support stakeholders with access.
  • Build and manage external employer partnerships.
  • Understand and follow federal and state apprenticeship regulations.
  • Collaborate with ECCOE staff to integrate programs.
  • Attain and maintain certification related to quality assessment tools.
  • Provide training, technical assistance, and mentoring.
  • Work with stakeholders on EC workforce development.
