We are looking for an experienced Teradata Developer to join our dynamic team, where you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data warehouse solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data warehouse solutions using Teradata.
• Utilize BTEQ scripting for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Implement Unix shell scripting to automate routine tasks and improve data processing efficiencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with business requirements.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of Teradata databases to enhance system efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Document database designs, technical specifications, and processes for future reference.

Must Haves:

• 8+ years of experience in Teradata development and data warehousing.
• Strong skills in data sourcing, data modeling, and data provisioning.
• Proven experience in performance tuning and optimization of Teradata databases.
• Proficiency in BTEQ scripting for ETL processes.
• Experience with Unix shell scripting to automate and streamline data operations.

Plusses:

• Experience with job scheduling tools like Autosys is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Informatica or other ETL tools will be considered a plus.
