Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business seeks a tenured Mark and Gail Pyke Professor of Accounting in the Accounting Group, with a Fall 2026 start. The chairholder will pursue high-impact research and teaching in accounting, governance, AI, and ESG, elevating the school’s scholarly profile.

The role emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and engagement with practitioners and policymakers, including leadership in graduate and undergraduate teaching and program development.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Accounting or related field by start date.
• Outstanding scholars with international reputation in research, teaching, and service.
• Collegiality, mentorship of junior colleagues, complementary research with current faculty.
• Prepared to work with global student populations.
• Strong record of impact on practitioners via publications or program development.

Responsabilités

• Develop initiatives to enhance the school’s scholarly reputation in accounting and advisory services through high-impact research and activities in auditing, governance, AI, Large Language Models, and ESG reporting.
• Promote and enhance research activities to increase visibility and prestige of the Accounting faculty.
• Develop initiatives and programs to enhance the School’s and University’s reputations among business executives and policymakers.
• Teach in accounting graduate and/or undergraduate programs.
