Job summary

Northeastern University’s D’Amore‑McKim School of Business invites applications for a Teaching Professor position located at the Boston campus, starting August 2026. The role is full-time, benefits-eligible with teaching, research, and service responsibilities at Assistant or Associate level depending on qualifications.

The successful candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate accounting courses, participate in service to the school, and develop a research program to achieve AACSB Scholarly

Qualifications

• Must have a doctorate in accounting or a closely related field by start date.
• At least 4 years of college teaching and/or professional experience for ranks above entry-level.
• Committed to excellence in teaching and research and fostering belonging for our student population.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses at graduate and undergraduate levels in accounting areas (financial, tax, audit or data analytics) and related subjects.
• Engage in service to the Accounting Group, D’Amore‑McKim School of Business, Northeastern University, and the discipline.
• Develop an independent research program to maintain AACSB Scholarly Academic qualification.
