Job summary

The University of Virginia is seeking an open rank, tenured faculty member in Neuromuscular Medicine within the Department of Neurology at UVA Health in Charlottesville, Virginia. The division covers peripheral neuropathies, neuromuscular junction disorders, myopathies, and motor neuron diseases, with robust basic, translational and clinical research support.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent terminal degree and board-certified/eligible in Neurology.
• Fellowship training in Neuromuscular Medicine required or strong equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients with neuromuscular diseases in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Educate and train medical students, Clinical Neurophysiology/EMG fellows, Neuromuscular Medicine fellows and residents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary centers and participate in research activities.
