Job summary

UVA Health in Charlottesville, VA, seeks an open rank faculty member in the Division of Neuromuscular Disorders within the Department of Neurology. The division supports diverse neuromuscular interests, including peripheral neuropathies and motor neuron diseases, with opportunities for leadership if qualified.

Qualifications

• MD, DO or equivalent terminal degree and board certification/eligibility in Neurology.
• Completed Neuromuscular fellowship or board certification in Neuromuscular Medicine.
• Experience in education and training of medical students and fellows.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with neuromuscular disease in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Engage in the education and training of medical students, fellows, and residents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary centers and core labs to support research.
• Potentially serve as Division Chief for qualified candidates.
