Job summary

The Department of Neurology at the University of Virginia seeks applicants for an open rank faculty position in the Division of Neuromuscular Disorders. The incumbent will join a division with a long tradition of superior clinical care and research and may be considered for a Division Chief role.

Qualifications

• MD/DO in Neurology required or equivalent terminal degree.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology with neuromuscular fellowship training.
• Strong clinical and research interest in neuromuscular disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients with neuromuscular diseases in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Educate and train medical students, Clinical Neurophysiology/EMG and Neuromuscular Medicine fellows, and neurology residents.
