Job summary

University of Virginia seeks applicants for an open rank faculty position in the Division of Neuromuscular Disorders within the Department of Neurology. The incumbent will participate in care of neuromuscular patients in inpatient and outpatient settings and will contribute to education of medical students and fellows in EMG/Neuromuscular Medicine.

Qualifications

• MD, DO or equivalent terminal degree required.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology.
• Completed a Neuromuscular fellowship or board certified in Neuromuscular Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients with neuromuscular disease in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Educate and train medical students, Clinical Neurophysiology/EMG and Neuromuscular Medicine fellows and neurology residents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary centers and core labs to support basic science, translational and clinical research.
