Kennesaw State University invites applications for a full-time, tenured faculty position as Associate Professor or Professor of Music and Associate Director of the Dr. Bobbie Bailey School of Music, beginning August 2027 in Georgia.

The nine-month position supports strategic initiatives, teaching, and leadership within the BSOM. Required: terminal degree in Music and credentials for tenure; preferred: national/international recognition, teaching excellence, and leadership experience.

Responsabilidades

Develop strategic initiatives to boost reputation, visibility, and impact regionally and nationally.
Provide leadership in assessment, accreditation, faculty support, and student success.
Coordinate with faculty on recruitment, outreach, and community engagement to attract high-achieving students.
Mentor faculty, guiding teaching effectiveness, scholarship, and promotion/tenure prep.
Collaborate on budget management to advance strategic goals.
Represent the School of Music at university, community, and professional events.
Assign teaching and scholarly activities based on program needs and credentials guidelines.
