Qualifications

  • DDS, DMD, or foreign equivalent.
  • Postgraduate prosthodontics program accredited by the ADA/CODA.
  • US Board Certification in Prosthodontics.
  • Minimum five years’ experience providing didactic and clinical instruction in an academic setting.
  • Record of obtaining extramural grant funding and publishing peer-reviewed research.
  • Eligibility for dental licensure in Washington.

Responsibilities

  • Devote a significant portion of effort to clinical supervision and clinic coverage.
  • Provide advanced didactic and laboratory instruction in fixed, removable, and digital prosthodontics.
  • Develop and enhance program curriculum.
  • Provide oversight of CODA standards and accreditation readiness.
  • Ensure adherence to UW Graduate School requirements and program reviews.
  • Contribute to patient-centered, interdisciplinary care and team-based planning.
  • Mentor student research activities.
  • Ensure financial viability of the clinic.
  • Contribute to activities advancing teaching, research, and clinical practice.
