Job summary

University of Washington Health System invites applications for a full-time Restorative Neurosurgeon at the Assistant Professor level (without tenure) in the Clinician-Scholar Pathway. Start date July 1, 2026.

Twelve-month appointment with potential multi-year terms, salary ranges up to $675,000 annually including UW Physicians compensation. The successful candidate will develop a clinical practice across Harborview and UW Medical Center, participate in teaching, and contribute to research

Qualifications

• MD degree or foreign equivalent.
• Eligibility for a Washington State medical license.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Neurological Surgery.
• USMLE steps completion for visa sponsorship eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a clinical practice focused on complex neurological disorders.
• Educate and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage in clinical, translational, or outcomes-based research.
