Qualifications

• PhD in United States History required, in hand at start of the appointment.
• Evidence of teaching excellence in US History and Utah History, online and in person.
• Experience mentoring students in career development, internships, and/or community outreach.

Responsibilities

• Teach six courses per year (face-to-face and online) including US History and Utah History courses.
• Contribute to lower- and upper-division and graduate curricula.
• Run the department internship program and support student career development.
• Engage in service to the Department, College, and University.
• Collaborate across units as needed within History and related fields.
