The University of North Dakota invites applications for a full-time, 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor in Social Work. The position emphasizes teaching, research, and service within the College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines and the Social Work department, with an allocation for teaching 40-50% and 40% to research and 10-20% to service.

Teaching will include BSSW courses and may involve MSW courses; start-up funding may be available to build a robust research program.

Formación

• MSW from CSWE accredited Social Work program.
• Doctoral degree in Social Work or related field.
• Two years of full-time post-MSW social work practice experience.
• Eligibility for licensure in ND as at least an LMSW.
• Criminal History Background Check required.

Responsabilidades

• Teach a range of Social Work courses, including Social Work Research, Social Policy, Generalist Practice with Task & Treatment Groups, and Generalist Practice with Organizations & Communities.
• Develop and maintain a robust program of research and pursue external funding opportunities.
• Engage in service activities aligned with department, college and university expectations.
