Job summary

Slippery Rock University invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track Social Work faculty position in the Department of Psychology, Social Work, and Recreational Therapy, beginning Fall 2027. The successful candidate will teach four courses per semester across the BSSW and MSW programs, with undergrad courses largely in person and grad courses online.

Qualifications

• Must have MSW from CSWE-accredited program.
• Doctorate in Social Work or related field required; ABD considered if completed by Fall 2027.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active scholarship, advise and mentor students, engage in service activities and department duties.
