Job summary

Slippery Rock University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling & Development. Qualifications

• Doctorate or ABD in Counseling & Development or related field by August 23, 2027.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in student affairs settings.
• Experience teaching graduate students in student affairs/higher education or related graduate courses.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach graduate-level courses in student affairs/higher education (master’s/doctoral).
• Teach and advise students (master’s/doctoral).
• Supervise fieldwork experiences (master’s).
• Engage in scholarly activities.
• Provide service to the profession, university, college, and department.
