Qualifications

• PhD in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Scholarly expertise in child and adolescent language disorders.
• Experience in literacy, bilingualism, developmental disabilities, speech sound disorders, phonology, rhythm disorders, or complex communication.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in speech-language pathology
• Maintain an active research agenda, including scholarly publications and/or grant activity
• Provide clinical supervision for students engaged in practicum experiences
• Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students
• Contribute to curriculum development, program growth, and accreditation efforts
• Participate in service activities at the department, university, professional, and community levels
• Support student recruitment and engagement initiatives
• Develop and teach courses in multiple modalities, including face-to-face and online instruction
• Demonstrate support to HBCU undergraduate and graduate students through academic advising as well as mentorship
