Xavier University invites applications for Adjunct Instructors in the Department of Speech, Language, and Communication Sciences to contribute to a new undergraduate program and a planned graduate track.

The successful candidate will bring teaching and clinical expertise to strengthen the undergraduate curriculum in speech-language pathology, supervise practicum experiences, and mentor students as the department grows and lines up the 2031 graduate launch.

Qualifications

• Masters, clinical doctorate, or Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA is required/equired.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Commitment to student advising and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in speech-language pathology and, later, graduate-level curriculum.
• Supervise students in clinical and practicum experiences as the program grows.
• Advise and mentor undergraduate students (and graduate students in time).
