Job summary

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University invites applications for tenured/tenure-track positions at all levels with a nine-month academic appointment beginning fall 2027.

We seek outstanding candidates in core, multi-disciplinary, or emerging areas of computing and AI, including cybersecurity, databases, formal methods, health computing, quantum computing, and responsible AI.

Qualifications

• PhD in computer science, computer engineering, or closely related field.
• Strong publication record and ongoing research agenda.
• Ability to secure external funding and collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Teach and advise graduate and undergraduate students.
• Develop and maintain an externally funded research program.
• Engage in department, college, and university service activities.
• Mentor junior faculty and contribute to diversity and inclusion efforts.
