Job summary

The University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor specializing in public policy or related research area. The successful candidate will teach policy and public administration courses and contribute to interdisciplinary collaborations.

We seek candidates with strong research programs, potential to secure external funding, and a record of publishing in high-quality outlets; a Ph.D. in a related field is required by the time of appointment.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in public policy or related field by appointment (ABD considered).
• Evidence of high-quality research in public policy or related field.
• Experience in teaching and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a productive research program with a strong record of scholarly output.
• Pursue external grants and research sponsorships.
• Develop and teach courses (in person and online) on topics related to public policy and administration, including a course on economic policy.
• Supervise and mentor doctoral students.
• Participate in service within the Department, College, University, and broader academic community.
