Job summary

North Central Missouri College in Savannah, Missouri seeks a full-time faculty member to provide instruction for Behavioral Health Support and Psychology courses. The position is exempt, 9-month contract with tenure track, and reports to the Dean/Director of Savannah Campus.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Counseling or Psychology (or related field with 18 graduate credits in Counseling/Psychology) and teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in counseling/psychology or related field with 18 graduate credits in Counseling/Psychology.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to teach Behavioral Health Support and Psychology courses.

Responsibilities

• Advance student learning through exemplary instruction in line with course objectives.
• Teach a minimum of 15 credit hours per semester at various times and locations.
• Provide academic advising for Behavioral Health Support students.
• Collaborate with adjunct and dual credit instructors when needed.
• Coordinate Behavioral Health Support course offerings with college officials.
• Participate in division and college committees.
