Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD invites applications for a full-time, 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Human Performance/Exercise Science. The successful candidate will teach a broad range of undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise research, mentor graduate students, and contribute to scholarly activity and service.

Qualifications

• PhD in Exercise Science, Biomechanics, Kinesiology, or related field.
• ABD candidates considered if degree completed before appointment date.

Responsabilités

• Teach face-to-face and online undergraduate and graduate courses in Human Performance and Exercise Science.
• Supervise undergraduate and graduate research.
• Mentor graduate students and contribute to scholarly activity.
• Engage in service to the university and community.
• Serve as Human Performance & Biomechanics Laboratory Director; oversee lab operations and supervise graduate assistants.
• Collaborate with athletics and community partners; support accreditation and program development.
