Job summary

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate physics and engineering courses and labs at introductory and advanced levels. Faculty are expected to engage in scholarly activity, mentor student researchers, and contribute to curriculum and service.

Qualifications

• PhD in physics, physics education, or related field completed before hire.
• Strong written and oral communication and excellence in undergraduate teaching and research.
• Commitment to inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body.

Responsibilities

• Teach 12 credit hours per semester of undergraduate physics and/or engineering courses and laboratories.
• Maintain an active program of scholarship and mentor students in research.
• Participate in campus service and contribute to department and university initiatives.
