The University of Louisville School of Nursing seeks a junior- to senior-level tenure-eligible or tenure-track research faculty with a focused research program.

Complementing the School of Nursing research portfolio is instrumental to the continued growth of our PhD program, to increase funding and data‑based peer‑reviewed publications, and to provide research mentoring for students interested in existing research areas.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Nursing (PhD or DNP) or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of nursing education experience at the collegiate level.
• Grant writing and research funding experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead a focused research program and seek external funding.
• Split effort: up to 50% research, remainder teaching and service.
• Engage in mentoring of PhD/DNP students and junior faculty.
• Report to the Associate Dean of Research and participate in tenure processes.
