Cleveland State University invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program beginning August 16, 2027. Rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, and the primary teaching focus is in neurologic physical therapy.

• Earned research doctorate in physical therapy or related field; terminal degree by July 1, 2027; ABD considered.
• Eligibility for Ohio PT licensure.
• Minimum of one year of clinical physical therapy practice experience.
• Evidence of contemporary expertise in neurologic physical therapy.
• Capability to conduct and maintain research and scholarship.
• Ability to teach core courses across the DPT Program.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate on teams.

Responsabilidades

• Teach DPT courses with primary focus in neurologic physical therapy.
• Participate in curriculum development/evaluation and program assessment.
• Conduct and maintain research and scholarship; mentor/advising students.
• Provide academic, professional, and community service; serve on committees.
• Ability to teach on-campus courses; may teach off-campus evenings/weekends/distance learning.
