Qualifications

• Doctorate in Microbiology or related field required by end of the first academic year.
• Evidence of the ability to be an effective instructor.
• Evidence of clear and effective communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses and advise students.
• Maintain currency in the content area related to the teaching assignment.
• Evaluate student work and provide regular, substantive feedback.
• Maintain appropriate records and hold office hours.
• Develop and sustain an active program of scholarship relevant to the discipline.
• Engage in service to the department, college, university, and professional organizations.
