Job summary

University of Wisconsin–La Crosse is seeking instructors for the Microbiology department to support ongoing needs across undergraduate and graduate courses. The pool allows for teaching in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats with supervision by the department chair.

Responsibilities include maintaining currency in content, evaluating student work, and providing regular feedback. Successful candidates will hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field and may need program-specific

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a field appropriate to the needs of the department.
• Certification/licensure may be required for certain programs.
• Teaching experience at undergraduate and/or graduate levels may be involved.

Responsibilities

• Develop instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction.
• Serve as initial point of contact for students on course content and expectations.
• Facilitate classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction and assess student performance.
