Utah State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor in Agricultural Systems Technology in the Department of Applied Sciences, Technology, and Education (ASTE). The successful candidate will lead teaching, research, and engagement related to agricultural systems and technologies, including automation, precision agriculture, and environmental management.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include PhD in a relevant field and excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated teaching effectiveness and potential for high-quality instruction.
Ability to secure funding and develop an externally funded research program.

Responsibilities

Develop an independent, externally funded research program aligned with agricultural systems technology.
Contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching in ASTE programs including CTE and extension education.
Advise and direct graduate student committees and participate in academic/service activities.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary faculty and external partners to advance teaching and research.
Publish and present research findings to advance the field.
