Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust research program in Japanese linguistics.
• Teach undergraduate courses in Japanese linguistics, language, and culture; mentor MA/PhD students.
• Advise and supervise graduate students; contribute to graduate education and mentorship across programs.
• Collaborate with faculty across Japanese program and related departments; engage in interdisciplinary teaching and research.
