Qualifications

• Master’s in Social Work or closely related field required.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Interest in working in a diverse, student-centered environment.
• Postsecondary teaching experience required; 5-years community college experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and manage introductory and sophomore-level classes in Human Services AS program.
• Use online, hybrid, Zoom, mini-semester and traditional in-person delivery methods.
• Engage students in High-Impact Practices like project-based and active learning.
• Conduct outcomes assessments at course, program, and institutional levels.
• Support student learning, retention, and success and assist as needed.
• Contribute to departmental service, committees, and college community.
• Assist with field work experiences and supervision for students.
• Integrate instructional technology to heighten student engagement.
• Perform related duties to advance college mission.
