Qualifications

• Master's in Social Work or a closely related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Interest in working in a diverse, student-centered, teaching-focused environment.
• Postsecondary teaching experience required.
• 5+ years of community college experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and manage introductory and sophomore-level Human Services classes.
• Deliver instruction via online, hybrid, Zoom, mini-semesters and in-person formats.
• Engage students with High-Impact Practices and active learning.
• Conduct outcomes assessments at course, program, and institutional levels.
• Support student learning, retention, and success; assist with field work supervision.
• Contribute to departmental service and the college community.
• Integrate instructional technology to heighten student engagement.
