Qualifications

• Earned Doctorate in History from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated evidence of effective academic instruction (excluding GA/TA), plus at least 2 years of online instruction experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach undergraduate level courses.
• Ensure Student Learning Outcomes and Departmental Mission are articulated across courses.
• Advise students in the history discipline, majors/minors.
• Engage in and present research related to history or area of specialization at professional conferences.
• Serve on departmental, college, and university committees.
• Attend faculty meetings, convocations, and commencements as requested.
