The Department of Educational Policy & Leadership at the University at Albany invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Higher Education. We seek a scholar focusing on higher education with leadership, governance, policy, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in Higher Education or related field by Aug 20, 2027.
• Preparation and expertise in Higher Education demonstrated through research, teaching, or professional practice.
• Evidence of scholarly productivity and a clear research agenda in Higher Education.
• Commitment to effective teaching and mentoring in higher education settings.
• Demonstrated potential for external funding aligned with career stage.

Responsabilités

• Conduct an active program of research and scholarship in Higher Education.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Higher Education and Educational Policy & Leadership.
• Advise master's and doctoral students and contribute to service to the department and university.
