• Master's degree in early childhood education

Responsibilities

• Instruct a broad range of Early Childhood Education course(s).
• Provide classroom instruction and facilitate individualized, non-traditional and online approaches to learning as appropriate.
• Develop and/or revise instructional materials with other faculty members.
• Develop and apply instructional methods that engage students of varying backgrounds and abilities
• Develop and apply assessment strategies that maximize the learning process and measure student learning outcomes.
• Actively participate in ongoing curriculum, program reviews and NAEYC accreditation.
• Conduct academic advising.
• Participate in college service activities in concert with the provisions of the MCCC Agreement.
• Actively supports the teaching and learning process; practicing honesty and integrity in and out of the classroom; striving to create and support a student-centered environment while fostering academic innovation and excellence.
• Work collaboratively and effectively with internal and external colleagues as needed to recruit and retain students.
• Provides flexible, responsive and high quality service to all, be they students, community, or staff, and continuously assessing processes and procedures and revising accordingly.

Education

Master's degree in early childhood education

Experience teaching courses at a high school or a college
