Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business or a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of teaching experience, preferably at the college level.
• Ability to teach CIT 110 (Applications and Concepts) with MS Windows and MS Office proficiency.
• At least five years of practical experience in the field of business.
• Experience with anti-bias and culturally responsive education.
• Ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop curriculum in the Business Administration Department, with primary responsibilities in Management, Marketing, general Business, and CIT 110 (Applications and Concepts), covering MS Windows and MS Office.
• Evaluate student performance using outcomes-based assessments.
• Employ a variety of appropriate teaching strategies to promote students' critical-thinking skills, and develop instructional materials consistent with course objectives.
• Participate in program assessment and analysis to determine appropriate goals and objectives for Management, Marketing, and Business courses, and assist in the ongoing development of course standards.
• Use new technologies in the classroom, as appropriate, to facilitate learning.
• Maintain expertise and currency in area of teaching as appropriate for the industry.
• Teach in different modalities, such as online, hybrid, and remote.
• Actively participate in Business Administration Department service and initiatives, and demonstrate a commitment to collaboration that contributes to department growth.
• Actively participate as a faculty member in the general College community and fulfill duties as stipulated in the MCCC Collective Bargaining Agreement.
