Qualifications

• Doctorate with specialization in exercise science or closely related field; ABD with completion by summer 2027 considered.
• CSCS credential required.
• Experience providing exercise science/strength and conditioning services to clients or patients.
• Strong foundation for collegiate teaching and scholarly activity.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and university members.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Internship and Field Experience within the Exercise Science program and maintain student records.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in exercise science, strength and conditioning, and health.
• Support curriculum development and accreditation efforts for CASCE/CoAES.
• Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students and engage in recruitment.
• Foster partnerships with sport and allied health organizations to create internship placements.
