Job summary

Purdue University Fort Wayne invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The nine-month academic appointment begins Fall 2027.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or closely related field is required or expected to be earned before employment.
• Demonstrated potential to establish a productive research agenda in electromagnetics, RF, or microwave engineering.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in electromagnetics, RF, and microwave engineering.
• Mentor undergraduate research, senior design projects, and graduate thesis work.
• Contribute to teaching First-Year Engineering courses ENGR 12700 and ENGR 12800.
• Establish an active research agenda and engage in service at multiple levels.
