Vincennes University (VU) invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Electrical/Computer Engineering. The successful candidate will teach a range of undergraduate courses in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Physics beginning January 2027.

The role is full-time, continuing, non-tenure track, with benefits, reporting to the Chair of the Engineering Department.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in EE/CE.
• Ability to teach Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Physics.
• Knowledge of assessment and data-driven decision making.

Responsabilidades

• Teach undergraduate and technical courses in engineering, computer science and physics.
• Serve as an academic advisor, and participate in related student success activities.
• Participate in recruitment and retention initiatives and activities.
• Develop and implement assessment, including learning outcomes, at course, program, college and university levels.
• Participate in service, including serving on departmental, college, and university committees.
• Other duties as assigned.
