Farmingdale State College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology, starting Fall 2027. The successful candidate will teach at the undergraduate level and may teach graduate courses, contributing to ABET accreditation and program development.

The department offers specialization including RF Technology with a state-of-the-art RF/Microwave lab.

Formación

• Earned Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related field; ABD candidates considered if doctorate conferred by time of appointment.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct scholarship in Electrical or Computer Engineering or closely related field.

Responsabilidades

• Teach undergraduate courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology; potential graduate courses.
• Develop and deliver courses across full spectrum of Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology.
• Establish a research agenda with peer-reviewed outputs; pursue external funding opportunities.
• Advise students and participate on college committees; contribute to ABET accreditation efforts.
