Western Connecticut State University’s School of Professional Studies seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Education. The successful candidate will teach on-campus undergraduate and graduate courses, contribute to program evaluation, CAEP accreditation activities, and field placements.

Responsibilities include engagement in scholarly activity, service, and collaboration with colleagues on assessment and outcomes. The department values diversity and inclusive excellence.

Qualificações

• Ph.D. or Ed.D in education or closely related field.
• Teaching certification in Elementary education required.
• Preference for additional certs in Secondary Education, Special Education, TESOL and/or Bilingual with 092.
• 2–3 years of higher education teaching experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in education.
• Engage in service to department, university and programs.
• Pursue scholarly activity including research and grant writing.
