Job summary

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a full-time, tenure-eligible faculty position in Lexington. The appointment is 11 months, with rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience; start time negotiable.

Preference given to AAC, pediatric speech/language, and/or motor speech expertise, with opportunities to contribute to both Master’s and Bachelor’s programs.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree required in CSD or related field.
• Preference for AAC, pediatric speech-language pathology or motor speech expertise.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Approximately 30–50% scholarship/research activity.
• Approximately 30–40% instructional duties.
• Approximately 10% service contributions.
• Instructional assignments negotiated annually with the Chair.
• Active engagement in clinical training within both Master’s and Bachelor’s programs.
