Passaic County Community College in Paterson, NJ is seeking a full-time, tenure-track faculty member in the Computer and Information Sciences department to teach a variety of Information Technology and Computer Science courses.

The position requires a master's degree, college teaching experience, and a commitment to student success, with opportunities to participate in curriculum development, assessment, and college service.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or closely related field.
• Higher education teaching experience; community college preferred.
• Ability to teach courses across modalities (in-person, remote, online).
• Knowledge of CS/IT topics: cloud computing, networking, cyber security, databases, programming (Python/C++), AI, web/mobile development.
• Experience with LMS platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of Information Technology and Computer Science courses.
• Advise students and serve on committees; participate in curriculum development and assessment.
• Maintain accurate grade and attendance records and support student success.
• Engage in department meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Use the college LMS and technology to fulfill teaching duties.
