Job summary
Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY is seeking a Tenure-track Faculty member in Construction Technology. The role involves teaching courses, developing new educational materials, and contributing to curriculum review and assessment within the Engineering Technologies Department.
The position may require online, remote, or hybrid modality deployments and may involve teaching at multiple MCC locations. The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering,
Qualifications
- Earned bachelor’s or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or related field; PE license with assoc. degree acceptable.
- Five years of full-time industry experience in related discipline.
- Ability to teach courses within the department.
- Commitment to inclusive campus environment.
- Experience with online course development is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses and evaluate student performance.
- Prepare syllabi, course materials, and assessments.
- Participate in curriculum review and program assessment.
- Contribute to department and college committees.
- Engage with students through advising and mentoring.
