Job summary

Roane State Community College is inviting applications for a full‑time tenure‑track faculty position in the Chemical Engineering Technology Program. The successful candidate will teach introductory and advanced courses, including process equipment and control, at the Oak Ridge Branch Campus.

Responsibilities include planning and teaching, 15 hours per semester with 15 office hours weekly (evenings possible), coordinating labs with adjuncts, advising students, and serving on the program advisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical or Process Engineering or related field.
• Preferred: teaching experience and professional licensure or advanced degree.
• Familiarity with course management software and process simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach Chemical Engineering Technology courses as outlined.
• Teach about 15 hours per semester and maintain office hours, including evenings.
• Coordinate lab activities and supervise lab operations with staff.
• Advise students and participate in program advisory activities.
• Contribute to service for the college and community.
