• Doctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and grow an independent, externally funded research program in Biomedical Engineering.
• Engage in interdisciplinary research collaborations with engineering faculty, basic science researchers, and/or clinical investigators.
• Contribute to the department’s research mission through scholarship advancing biomedical technologies and improving human health.
• Teach and contribute to undergraduate and graduate education in biomedical engineering, aligned with your expertise.
• Mentor undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral trainees and contribute to a supportive academic environment.
• Participate in service activities supporting the department, college, and broader academic community.
