Mercer University School of Medicine is seeking a tenure-track educator in Bioethics and Professionalism. The position is a 12-month appointment based in Columbus, Georgia, with teaching across the university's three medical campuses—Macon, Savannah, and Columbus—both virtually and in person.

The candidate will collaborate with the department chair and faculty to build an integrated ethics curriculum for pre-clinical and clerkship years.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate an ethics and humanities curriculum for pre-clinical and clerkship years.
• Collaborate with the Chair and department faculty to deliver unified teaching across campuses (Macon, Savannah, Columbus).
• Engage in faculty development, teaching rounds, and sponsor student projects in bioethics and medical humanities.
• Participate in interdisciplinary work with other schools (law, nursing, pharmacy, theology).
